This 31-year-old male patient had spent much time in the past worrying about his thinning hair and had suffered from the effects of male pattern baldness since high school. After researching the Hair Transplant Forum, and seeing what could be done to restore his receding hair, he found Dr. Steven Gabel and the Gabel Center.
He had read about Dr. Gabel’s board certifications, patient reviews and close proximity to his home, and decided to give the Gabel Center a call. Dr. Gabel consulted with the patient and discussed several options, including the FUT strip harvest hair transplant method, medications including Finasteride and Minoxidil, and others. He also determined that he would be a good candidate for a follicular unit excision (FUE) surgery, to which the patient readily agreed.
