This 27-year-old male patient had been concerned about his thinning hairline, and desired to undergo a hair transplant to restore density in his frontal region. During his consultation Dr. Gabel confirmed that male pattern baldness was the primary reason for the hair loss. The doctor recommended an ultra-refined follicular unit transplant (strip surgery) for increased density and coverage of the new hairline. Together, Dr. Gabel and the patient designed a suitable hairline that would match the patients age. During the procedure, Dr. Gabel transplanted 3,655 grafts into the hairline and frontal zone of the scalp. The patient is very pleased with his results, and is feeling much more confident about his upcoming wedding. On inspection, his hairline appears strong and healthy, with no visible thinning or signs of surgery. The postoperative photographs are 3.5 years after the hair transplant.
