Dr. Steven Gabel is honored to join several prominent leaders in the Hair Restoration field as a faculty member at the 2019 hands on cadaver lab and live surgery workshop in Istanbul, Turkey. The three day workshop will take place April 19 – 21, 2019. At this event, each step of the Follicular Unit Excision (FUE) technique will be taught and demonstrated in great detail, all while under the supervision of Dr. Gabel and other faculty members. Surgeons frequently utilize cadaver labs to teach hair restoration physicians the latest FUE techniques to advance their surgical skills.
Besides teaching physicians in the hands-on portion of the course, Dr. Gabel will be lecturing on the topics of in hair restoration including post operative care, medical therapies, complications, and general office setup.
Dr. Gabel recently won the prestigious 2019 National Castle & Connolly Top Doctor award. In addition, he was the winner of the 2016 James E. Arnold award for achieving the highest score on the written hair restoration board examination. Gabel is a diplomate of the American board certified in Hair Restoration, and board certified in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He is also a member of the elite Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians (less than 50 physicians are in this group) and has appeared on national radio shows discussing hair loss and hair restoration.
