Bangkok, Thailand – Dr. Steven Gabel, on behalf of the entire Gabel Hair Restoration staff is proud to announce that the 2019 Distinguished Surgical Assistant Award honoring a surgical assistant with exemplary service and outstanding accomplishments in the field of hair restoration surgery was awarded to the Gabel Center’s Aileen Ullrich, CMA.
The ISHRS (International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery) states that Aileen is “well known and admired by those in the ISHRS community for her dedication to educational endeavors and selfless commitment to helping others in the hair restoration community, Aileen began her career as a surgical assistant in 2005 and is an advocate for all surgical assistants.”
Aileen attended her first ISHRS annual meeting in 2007 in Las Vegas and has been heavily involved with many of the subsequent annual meetings. She has helped with the setup, presentation, and education of those in attendance, and also continues to be an integral part of many workshops worldwide. She is a member of the Surgical Assistants Committee, and she has also chaired the surgical assistant program for several years.
